Escape Room FAQ

*Do I need to book an escape room in advance?  

We strongly recommend reserving an escape room in advance to ensure you can play at your preferred time. We operate by reservation only. You can book online at www.covertescapegame.com  

*Will we be sharing a room with strangers?  

No. Our escape room games are all private, so you won't be sharing the room with anyone who isn't part of your group.  

*Are your escape games family-friendly?  

Yes, both 80s Rewind and Whodunit at Beverly Square are family-friendly escape games with fun challenges suitable for all ages. For Missing Pieces, parents should use discretion, as parts of this game contain graphic images and limited lighting. It is not recommended for children under 8 years old. Players ages 8 to 17 years need an adult to sign the waiver, and they also need at least one adult to be in the building (possibly in the room) during gameplay.  

*Can we bring our young children?  

Due to 2026 changes to our insurance policy, no children under the age of 6 are permitted in the rooms. The only exception is for infants that can be held or placed in a stroller or carrier. Children 6 and older are welcome; however, parents/guardians MUST supervise their children and may be held responsible for any damage that occurs. Please call us if you have any questions.  

*Is your facility handicap accessible?  

Yes. We offer accessible rooms, restrooms, and parking to accommodate all our guests. If you have questions, feel free to call us.  

*Do you offer cancellations and/or refunds?  

We understand that plans change. All escape room games canceled within 24 hours will be issued a credit towards a future game. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.  

*When should we arrive and what should we bring?  

Groups should arrive 15 minutes prior to their game time to review game rules and safety instructions. If you arrive late, your timer will still begin at your scheduled time.  

*How many players can play per room?  

Each of our escape rooms accommodates up to 6 players. If you have larger groups, we would be happy to divide you into multiple rooms. Please call us in advance to schedule.  

*Can I add onto my reservation if friends or family decide to play late?  

Yes, additional players can be added to your reservation. We will collect any extra payment when you arrive.  

*How do we pay?  

You can complete payment online when you make your reservation. If you are a walk-in, you can pay with cash or credit card. All games are $26 each plus applicable tax and fees.  

*How long are your games, and are we really locked in the room?  

Our escape room games last 60 minutes. Doors are not locked; all games are mission-based.  

*What is parking like?  

We are located at 2061 W. 8th Street. We have a well-lit parking lot close to the entry door for your safety. Handicapped spaces are available.  

*Do you sell gift certificates?  

Yes, you can purchase a gift certificate for any denomination. Currently, they cannot be purchased online.  

*Do you host corporate and team-building events?  

Yes! We offer a fun and unique experience for corporate teams. We would be happy to coordinate with you.  

*Do you host other events or rent your venue?  

Yes! We host birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorette/bachelor parties, and team building events.  

*Do we have to sign a waiver?  

All players are required to fill out a waiver prior to gameplay. Waivers will be emailed with your booking confirmation. We also have waivers available in-house that you can sign. Waivers outline all safety instructions, and players will take responsibility for any damage caused beyond normal wear and tear. We will provide full instructions before your game to ensure each player has a complete understanding.
