FAQ

 *Do I need to book in advance?  

We strongly recommend reserving a game in advance to ensure you can play at your preferred time. We are open by reservation only. You can book online at www.covertescapegame.com 

*Will we be sharing a room with strangers?

No.  Our games are all private so you won't be sharing the room with anyone who isn't apart of your group.

*Are your games family-friendly? 

Yes both 80s Rewind and Whodunit at Beverly Square are perfect with fun challenges for all ages.  For Missing Pieces parents should use discretion. Parts of the game contain graphic images and limited lighting. Not recommended for children under 8 years old.  Players ages 8 to 17 years need an adult to sign the waiver, and they also need at least one adult to be in the building  (possibly the room) during game play.

*Can we bring our young children?  

Due to 2026 changes to our insurance policy no children under the age of 6 are permitted in the rooms. The only exception are infants that can be held or in a stroller or carrier. 

Children 6 and older are welcome, however the parents/guardians MUST watch their children and may be responsible if damage occurs. Call us if you have any questions.

*Is your facility handicap accessible? 

Yes. We offer accessible rooms, restrooms, and parking to accommodate. If you have questions call us.

*Do you offer cancelations and/or refunds?  

We understand that plans change.   All games cancelled within 24 hours will be issued a credit towards a future game.  Anything less than 24 hours is non-refundable.

*When should we arrive and what should we bring? 

Groups should arrive 15 minutes prior to their game time to review game rules and safety instructions.  If you are late, your timer will still begin at your scheduled time. 

*How many players can play per room? 

Each of our rooms accommodate 2-6 players. If you have a larger groups we would be happy to divide you into multiple rooms. Please call us in advance to schedule. 

*Can I add onto my reservation if friends or family decided to play late? 

Yes additional players can be added. We will take any extra payment when you arrive.

*How do we pay? 

You can compete payment online when you make your reservation.   If you are a walk-in, you can pay with cash or by credit card.  All games are $25 each plus applicable tax and fees.

*How long are your games and are we really locked in the room? 

Our games are 60 minutes long. Doors are not locked. All games are mission based.

*What is parking like? 

We are located at 2061 W. 8th Street. We have a parking lot that is well lit and close to the entry door for your safety.  Handicapped spaces are available.

*Do you sell gift certificates? 

Yes you can purchase a gift certificate for any denomination.  At this time they cannot be purchased online.

*Do you host corporate and team building events? 

Yes!  We offer a fun and unique experience. We would be happy to coordinate with you. 

*Do you host other events or rent your venue?

Yes!  We host birthdays, trivia events, paint parties and more!  We also rent out our venue for other events.  Call us to see how we can accomodate you!

*Do we have to sign a waiver?

All players are required to fill out a waiver prior to game play. Waivers will be emailed with your booking confirmation.  We also have waivers in house that you can sign. Waivers outline all safety instructions. In addition players will take responsibility for any damage caused beyond normal wear and tear. We will provide full instructions prior to your game so that each player has a full understanding.
